Byram Neighborhood Association Meeting

The Byram Neighborhood Association (BNA) will be meeting at St. Paul's Church at 7pm on Thursday, June 13th.  All residents and business owners, renters and owners alike, are encouraged to attend.  

IMPORTANT: Elections for BNA officers (Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, Secretary) will be held.  The following people have been nominated: 

Joseph Kantorski (Chair)

Robert McKnight (Vice-Chair)

Matt Popp (Vice-Chair)

Samarpana Tamm (Treasurer)

Lucy von Brachel (Secretary)

The responsibilities for each position include":

Chairperson / Vice-Chairperson 

    • Committee appointments

    • Representing or appointing an alternate representative at meetings of other organizations and government bodies.

    • Chairing full Association and executive committee meetings.

    • Creating or requesting correspondence with other entities or person on matters of Association interest to express the views of the Association or advocating specific actions.

    • Provide a point of contact for Association members, other community associations, interest groups, and government bodies

Treasurer 

    • Collect and deposit membership contributions or other funds acquired by the Association.

    • Distribute and spend funds per Executive Committee or Board approvals.

    • Prepare and present to the Association and Annual Report or finances or interim reports as requested by the Executive Committee, Board or Association members.

Secretary

    • Maintain minutes and records of all meetings.

    • Maintain a current roster of membership

    • Issue notices of membership meetings.
